Don't let sunbreaks 'fool' you, April off to soggy start

Showers and gusty winds outside this morning as we get ready for even more wet weather for the week ahead.

There are some dry spots but showers will increase Sunday afternoon. Gusty winds fueled by an area of low pressure moving to our north will calm down by the end of the day.  We have had gusts so far this morning between 40 and 50mph. Our daytime highs today will hit the upper 40s to low 50s.

Monday starts out with a few showers, but the moisture increases in the afternoon as another very soggy system approaches the coast. Highs on Monday will stay below normal.

Tuesday is looking sopping wet right now. We will have to keep an eye on some of our creeks and rivers as heavy rain moves in for much of the day.

We start getting a break by Wednesday afternoon. Right now Thursday and Friday are looking like our best chance for some sunbreaks.
